Reporting directly to: Head of Procurement and Logistics
Overall supervision by: Chief of Mission
II. Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission, close coordination with RRT coordinator and the direct supervision of the Head of Procurement and Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for logistical arrangements for RRT.
III. Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Manage and conduct Logistical activities, with the following main activities: Shipment, logistical support for camp management, property and Assets management, Supply, Service/Maintenance, fleet management and convoy.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Head of Sub-Offices regarding all local procurement, Logistics and service requirements, in order to consolidate service/procurement requirements. Generate reports as necessary, propose and implement strategic adjustments towards increasing the effectiveness and accuracy of all Logistic activities.
- Take responsibility for all planning, implementation and monitoring aspects related to logistical needs of area.
- Participate to Logistics/Operational coordination meeting.
- Follow-up and Liaise with Juba logistics & Procurement unit on purchase orders status and keep project managers/requesters abreast of estimated time of delivery or any changes that may affect or modify the pre-determined delivery conditions; ensure all expected merchandise is received in accordance with PO specifications, and that all goods are in good condition.
- Manage, and supervise staff dedicated to the above duties and responsibilities.
- Travel to all program sites in the region to perform Procurement & Logistics evaluations if necessary.

V. Education and Experience
Completed advanced university degree from an accredited academic institution preferably in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Procurement or an equivalent combination of training and experience;
Three years (or four years for candidates with a first university degree) of progressive responsible experience in emergency logistics operations and experience in managing diverse procurement and logistics operations;
Excellent level of computer literacy
