VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. 3 OF 2014
Vacancies exist in the Industrial Court. The Industrial Court is a court of law and equity, which exists to provide a professional, efficient, effective and just service in the settlement of trade disputes.
Self-driven, efficient and resourceful candidates are sought to fill the below positions. Priority will be given to citizens of Botswana.
SALARY SCALE: C1 (P123 168- P147 180 per annum)
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum
BENEFITS:
i) Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee 50%).
ii) Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and employee 5%).
QUALIFICATIONS:
National Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
EXPERIENCE:
At least two (2) years experience in the area –C2 salary scale or level of equivalent
responsibility.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To act as personal assistant to the Assistant Registrar by providing secretarial and administrative services.
CORE DUTIES
1. Provides Secretarial Services to the Assistant Registrar.
2. Maintains diary for the Assistant Registrar.
3. Draft replies to inquiries and issues standard replies as directed by the supervisor.
4. Collects information and prepares standard reports and briefing notes: Drafts replies to correspondence for approval by the supervisor.
5. Makes travel arrangements and notifies organisations and officials to be visited.
6. Produces letters, savingrams, minutes, memoranda, notes and standard reports including complex tabulations and difficult layout, working from shorthand or taped dictation, manuscript or other drafted material.
IMPORTANT
