AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF OFFICE AND WAREHOUSE ACCOMMODATION

• Tender offers are invited from property owners, estate agents, property managers and property developers to register their serviced office/warehouse space for possible leasing by Government in main urban centres of Gaborone, Francistown, Selebi-Phikwe, Lobatse, and Jwaneng and in secondary centres such as Serowe, Palapye, Mahalapye, Kanye, Maun, Molepolole and Letlhakane.

• The Procuring entity is the Department of Lands.

• Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall, in order to be considered for the award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to provide office accommodation and in possession of requisite documentation to provide such services according to the laws of Botswana, and be registered with PPADB in the following category Code: 131, Sub code: 04.

Preferences in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurements and Asset Disposal Act 2001 shall apply to the contract, as per the applicable Presidential Directives.

• Documents may be collected during working days beginning 22nd September 2014 from 0800hrs to 1530hrs. A non-refundable deposit of P250.00 payable either by cash or bank guaranteed cheque made out in favour of the Government of Botswana is required on collection of the tender documents.

The non-refundable deposit must be paid for each tender submitted.

• The closing time for receipt of tender offers/bids is 10.00 hours on 23rd October 2014.

Late tender offers will NOT be accepted. Tender opening will be done immediately after closing time in the presence of bidders or representatives wishing to attend.

• The tender validity is ONE (1) YEAR from the tender closing date.

• Telephone, emailed, or facsimile tenders will NOT be considered
