6.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
6.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To monitor and maintain Information Technology to ensure maximum access and systems are equipped with current hardware and software.
6.2.Key Performances Areas
•Availability and accessibility of IT systems
•Security of IT Systems
•Training of staff in the use of IT resources
•Budgeting and cost control of IT resources.
6.3.Qualifications
•Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent that covered computer security, hardware configuration and technical support, database programming, operating systems and software installation
•Certified IT Technician courses such as an of the following: A+, CEH, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, MCP, MCSE, MCSA, ITIL will be an added advantage.
6.4.Experience
•At least three (3) years work experience working as a computer repair and maintenance technician.

5.OFFICER: MEDIA AND CONTENT (2 Positions)
5.1.Main Purpose of the Job
Ensures the compliance and monitoring of television and radio broadcasting services, including online broadcasting with the aim to facilitate the development of a knowledge society and enhance competition as well as ensuring fair regulation in electronic media industry.
5.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelors Degree in Media Studies (preferably Electronic Media).
•A post Graduate qualification in a related field will be an added advantage
•Experience not essential but would be an added advantage.

4.OFFICER; POSTAL REGULATION
4.1.Main Purpose of the Job
Conducts market research and other related initiatives to support postal regulation policy, strategy and guidelines. Source, analyse and process information and data required in the formulation of postal strategy and policy. Support the day to day economic regulatory function of the department. Consider, assess and process tariffs and product costing applications.
4.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Degree in Economics, Business, ICT or related field
•Experience not essential but would be an added advantage
3.MANAGER, FINANCE
3.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, organize and manage the provision of financial management and accounting systems and procedures to ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of the Authority's accounts and financial statements, adequacy of cash flow and optimization of investment income to the Authority's requirements.
3.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent plus professional accounting qualification
•At least 3 years post qualification experience in a computerized accounting field
2.ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR
2.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To organize, manage, supervise and participate in the Implementation of the Internal audit programme of the Authority. This includes; the evaluation of risks, reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Authority's internal control systems and procedures, ensuring that the Authority financial management, accounting and business polices, procedures, practices are in compliance with laid down Board directives and consistent with International Standards.
2.2.Qualifications
•Degree in Accounting, Auditing, AAT or equivalent. Part qualification in a Professional association recognized Internationally, eg ACCA, Certified Internal Auditor, IT Auditing qualification will be an added advantage.
•At least two (2) years post qualification experience in auditing
1.SENIOR OFFICER; LICENSING
1.1.Main Purpose of the Job

Consider, assess and process tariffs and product costing applications.

•Existence of market research reports
•Availability of market information and data towards development of the Botswana Postal market
•Information processing support for resolution of disputes
•Assess application for postal tariff fillings
•Contribute to Financial Management and sectional budget for the Department
1.3.Qualifications & Experience
•Degree in Economics, Business, ICT or related field
•Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
