VACANCY: GRAPHIC/DIGITAL DESIGNER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a highly experienced motivated Graphic Designer in our organization. You will provide the support that strengthens and inspires our message. You will be responsible for the creative conceptualisation and execution of design briefs.

REQUIREMENTS:
•A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position and environment
•Must have a strong portfolio
•Great typographical skills
•Conceptualisation and corporate identity is a must
•You will be required to support brand consistency. The role will involve managing more than one brief at a time, allocating the relevant amount of time according to the needs of the job.
•Design and Layout experience is mandatory
•You will work with a team of designers

MUST BE ABLE TO:
•Conceptualise and execute from client briefs to completion
•Pay attention to detail
•Engage with the Client Services Team as well as Clients
•Have a sound understanding of reproduction and printing processes
•Have a great relationship with suppliers, printers etc
•Work speedily but accurately and work unsupervised
•Be accountable, self-management and check own work
•Knowledge and ability in HTML and CSS an advantage

IT ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO:
•Be a motivated self starter with the ability to personally manage projects
•Have some commercial copywriting skills
•Have sound knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, photoshop and Microsoft packages
•Have creativity a good business sense, technological skills and a strong understanding of your audience
•Valid drives license a must
