SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the above-mentioned positions which is based in Maun. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager, covering areas Maun, Gantsi and Shakawe.

Key performance areas include but not limited to:

•Call on formal on – and – off consumption outlets in the areas
•Selling and promoting the company’s portfolio of products
•Achieve distribution, forward share and promotional targets for the area
•Implement the market segmentation policy
•Control and correct use of ROI and POS material
•To take responsibility for own and team objectives, incorporating the Distell values
•Driving innovation and continuous improvement

Key qualifications / Experience / skills:

•Formal tertiary qualification in Sales/ Marketing (Diploma/Degree)
•2 – 3 years sales and promotional experience preferably in FMCG
•Computer literacy (MS Office package)
•Botswana citizenship
•A valid driver’s licence (class B)
•Excellent communication skills that include strong negotiation skills, ability to network and presentation skills
•Self- starter with highly motivated nature
•Entrepreneurial attitude with excellent business skills and sound judgment
•Adaptable to change
