CUSTOMER BASED CONSULTANT
Applicants are invited to apply for the above-mentioned position which is based in Gaborone, reporting to the managing director: Botswana. The purpose of this position involves receiving orders by phone, fax or electronically and the processing thereof as well as ensuring customers are served with information accurately, as quickly as possible, and pro-actively contact customers to acquire orders.
Key performance areas include but not limited to:
•Contacting customers on weekly calendar
•Maintaining a high level customer service
•Selling products to all customers allocated
•Trade returns for all allocated customers
•Promote, build and maintain effective and successful customer relationships
•Tending to customer queries
•Generating of customer orders
•Performing all related administrative duties on a daily basis (planning, credit, invoices etc.)
Key qualifications / Experience / skills:
•Formal tertiary qualification in sales and marketing (Diploma)
• At least (3) three years’ experience in a similar work experience
•Efficient and proven computer literacy (Microsoft office package and SAP)
•Botswana citizenship
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Selling and negotiating skills
•Intricate knowledge of Distell’s range of products and packages
•Understanding of market segmentation
•Customer interaction experience
•The ability to function in a team as well as individually
