Job Summary
During the programme candidates will:

Be accorded the training to enable them to develop skills and competencies necessary to subsequently perform at Maintenance Technician level.
Get exposure on practical, hands on work experience in relevant section on rotational basis
Get an appreciation for and apply current policies and procedures in related fields

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation or equivalent
Valid light duty Driver’s License

Key Effectiveness Areas

Provides technical information to assist in the development of budgets
Maintains equipment using appropriate maintenance technologies to ensure optimum equipment availability and reliability
Effects the implementation of new systems & equipment by:
Performing detail design, device programming, configuration & calibration on equipment
Commissioning & installation of equipment
Optimises equipment life cycle by monitoring equipment performance and making corrective recommendations
Performs repairs, installation and any work required to set up, align or otherwise prepare for operation, all electronic and instrumentation equipment/systems in area of responsibility
Performa operational checks, monitors performance and related maintenance to identify and diagnose instrumentation and electronic performance problems
Attends to all administrative functions of the position
Adheres to all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility
