TENABLE AT JWANENG AND ORAPA AND LETLHAKANE MINES

Job Summary
To coordinate, manage and continuously improve both the Asset Management Systems and the Reliability Engineering
processes

Key Activities

Recommends cost saving initiatives into budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters
Predicts and designs out imminent equipment failure through statistical and process control analyses
Maintains an auditable, comprehensive, structured and integrated asset management system aligned to the requirements of ISO55000
Continuously improves equipment performance through analysis and redesign where feasible and applicable
Reports asset performance accurately and reputably
Adheres to all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility
Requirements
Minimum Requirements

Degree in an Engineering Discipline – Mechanical, Electrical or Control & Instrumentation.
Five (5) years substantive Engineering Experience in heavy engineering.
Project Management
Registration with Botswana Engineers’ Registration Board
Additional Requirements

Well conversant in SAP PM
Experience in all aspects of Reliability Engineering, including RCFA, RCM and Risk Analysis and Management
Demonstrated knowledge of opencast mining equipment in the Southern African context
