JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Manager Human Resources will develop and implement human resource initiatives to ensure the provision of Human Resource Services to the institute. The Manager Human Resources will promote a conducive work environment and align staff performance to BGI’s core business and strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS and PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or Public Administration
Membership to Human Resources and Leadership/Management professional associations is added advantage
EXPERIENCE
Membership to Human Resources and Leadership/Management professional associations is added advantage
EXPERIENCE
8 years post qualification in general HR management
3 years should have been at senior management level
Expert knowledge in the human capital value chain
A track record in driving effective performance management and embedding effective evaluation and impact reporting
A sound track record of driving the HR strategy

Botswana Geoscience Institute was enacted under the Botswana Geoscience Institute Act 2014 to undertake research in the field of Geosciences and providing specialised geoscientific services, being the custodian of geoscience information; promoting the search for, and exploration of any mineral in Botswana, and to act as an advisory body in respect of geosciences and geohazards.
