PRINCIPAL LANDS OFFICER II (VALUATION) – D3 X 1 POST TENABLE AT DEPT OF LANDS
SALARY: D3 (P201, 516 – P222, 468 per annum)
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Property Studies, Business Property Management, Estate Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, or any other related field.

EXPERIENCE: 8 years relevant work experience, 2years of which must have been served as Senior Lands Officer – Valuation (D4) or equivalent.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To organize and execute land/estate management and valuation services.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
• Handles routine enquiries on land related matters.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with lease agreements
• Prepare certificate of compliance.
• Perform property referencing.
• Prepare inspection report for development control.
• Update property register.
• Compile list of defaulters: rental disbursement.
• Collect land information from Deeds Registry for analysis.
• Provide advice to support and improve delivery of technical services.
• Appraise and review job performance of junior staff.
• Seat in the Departmental Performance Improvement Committee as an advisory member.
• Reconcile rental payment accounts.
• Undertakes any other related duties as may be assigned by Management.
