AOAV is looking for a part-time volunteer to work with the Policy and Investigations team, principally to assist the team in research on explosive weapons and victim assistance, and preparing for field trips.
Ideally AOAV is looking for someone who:
- Has a demonstrable interest in human rights, international affairs, or conflict studies;
- Has strong research skills;
- Has experience writing for different audiences;
- Is comfortable working with minimal supervision;
- Has knowledge of twitter, facebook, and other social medial platforms;
- Has knowledge of systems such as WordPress;
The position is part-time, and initially for a period of 1-month, with the potential for extension. We will be reviewing applications before the application deadline.
Unfortunately the position is unpaid, however AOAV will reimburse travel expenses and provide a lunch allowance of £5 per day.
