1) SEBD TRANSMISSION ENGINEER

Main duties include:

• Proposing high level engineering studies and solutions for concerned transmission domains
• Preparing TCO and financial impacts for each solution
• Proposing implementation phases and following up the implementation
• Utilizing the strategic plan to propose all necessary study
• To work closely with IBNF group in order to get benefit of solutions already studied or tested
• To get benchmark from other affiliates on demand
• To study technical solutions to connect corporate clients

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of science/engineering in telecommunication engineering or electronic and electrical engineering or IT
• 2 years of engineering experience in telecommunication company
SKILLS
• Excellent understanding of transmission equipment
• Result oriented
• Good analytical skills

2) ENGINEERING LEAD

Main Duties

• Issuing high level solutions for concerned domains
• Getting benchmarks from affiliates
• Pros\posing implementation phases
• Presenting TCO and financial impacts for each solution
• Lead and support a team of engineers
• Work with ITN strategy team to build department strategy

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic/electrical/telecommunication/IT
• 5 years experience in the telecommunication environment
Skills
• Excellent understanding of mobile equipment and platforms
• Excellent understanding of business requests
• To react quickly
• Clients and QoS oriented

3) SEBD – SENIOR STRATEGY ENGINEER

Main Purpose
• Liaising with OBW Business to get their medium term strategy
• To refer to orange group strategy
• Sourcing from techno centre inputs related to services deployment
• Work with engineering to update network systems and play forms design and capacity
Qualification
• Barchelor of science in telecommunication /electrical engineering electronics/computer engineering or master degree
• 5 years experience in a telecommunication mobile systems and services
Skills
• Excellent knowledge of both GSM,WCDMA and LTE systems
• Ability to schedule work and motivate staff
• Self driven
• Pay particular attention to details
• Innovative and proactive

4 ) TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT & BUILDING ENGINEERING – ENGINEER

Main purpose of the job

• To refer to strategic plan to propose all necessary study
• Proposing high level engineering studies for concerned technical environment domains
• Working closely with IBNF group in order to get benefit of solutions already studied
• To work closely within SEBD/engineering in order to ensure that all technical domains and solutions are coherent
• To manage security policy related Data centre buildings in Gaborone and Francistown
• To include OPEX consequences as part of solution validation
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in electronic/electrical/telecommunication/IT
• 3 years of experience
Skills
• Excellent understanding of technical environment equipment
• Costs saving oriented
• Good analytical skills
• Clients and QoS
• Ability to work under pressure
