Job purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide support in planning and implementation of Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) project activities and other ACHAP Supported programs at hub and district levels with a focus on ensuring high quality and safe VMMC services, scaling up demand creation interventions and ensuring effective and timely implementation of ACHAP supported activities.

Job purpose:

The data clerk will be responsible for collecting, collating and reviewing programmatic data from VMMC sites and other ACHAP supported programs at district and operational area level. The incumbent will also conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of all data recorded and submits weekly, monthly and quarterly data to the Project Manager and ACHAP’s M&E department.

To provide transport for staff, VMMC clients and visitors to and from destinations in a comfortable, safe and efficient manner.
Roles and responsibilities
• Transporting VMMC clients from schools, homes and any other place of assembly to circumcision sites and dropping them off at their homes after circumcision
• Transporting Mobilisers and VMMC staff
• Transporting VMMC supplies and equipment as and when necessary

5. VMMC Doctors
Job purpose:
The doctor will be responsible for providing VMMC services and contribute to the achievement of ACHAP VMMC targets.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Conducts high quality voluntary male circumcisions at the facility and at outreach stations
• Ensure adequate client education and follow up of VMMC clients for post-operative care to minimize possibility of adverse events occurring
• Provides 24 hour adverse event monitoring and response support to all VMMC clients
• Participates in and supports one-on-one counseling services for males desiring to be circumcised and provides the required pre- and post circumcision information that will help clients make the necessary decisions and adopt key behaviors that reduce risk for HIV, STIs, tetanus or other infections
• Participates in the review and development of monitoring and evaluation tools for assessing programme performance
• Works with the health facility/site/district team to organize and conduct group educational sessions on safe male circumcision in order to promote demand for VMMC services
