Komatsu is looking for Parts Interpreters in their Botswana office.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 – 3 Diploma in Supply Chain Management
2 – 3 Diploma in Supply Chain Management
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 - 4 years post qualification experience in the mining industry with prove technical support and management record
- Experience working with parts would be an advantage
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- MS Excel
- SAP Orders
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
1. Parts Sales
1. Parts Sales
- Executes parts sales
- Providing advice to customer
- Executes the parts ordering process
- Administrates the introduction of new parts into system
- Follows up on emergency orders
- Follows up on back orders
- Generates Parts Inventory Availability Reports
- Generates backorder report
- Executes Parts Returns from customer
- Executes and participates in stock counts
- Executes general office administration
2. Parts Stock Count
- Executes and participates in stock counts –
- Daily and at other frequencies when required
- Prints stock reports on variances, write-offs/write-ups for review by management
3. Safety Health & Environment Role Content
- Implement the Komatsu Way 5Ss - sorting, organising, cleaning, ordering and training
- Adheres to SHE policies and procedures
- Instructs / imparts knowledge and procedures to colleagues
- Takes SHE into account in the planning of work output
