Vacancies exist for the following position tenable at our various operations within Botswana Mines:
SHE CO-ORDINATOR
Requirements
Degree/National Diploma in Safety Management
- SAMTECH/SAMTRAC
- ITIS
- Previous Mining Construction experience on large scale projects; at least 2 of which must be at mines in Botswana Minimum 10 years experience in Mechanical/structural Construction works as a Senior Safety Officer, involving working at heights in excess of 25m
- Must demonstrate full understanding of the ISO and OHSAS System
- Ability to conduct and lead Hazop, develop Method Statements, Baseline Risk Assessments and associated procedures
Technical competencies must include:
- Excellent HSE Knowledge
- Thorough understanding of the MQWM Act, Botswana
- Ability to develop Emergency Action Plans and associated Disaster Recovery Plans
