1.STOCK ACCOUNTANT

1.1.Job Purpose

Reporting to the Finance Manager through the Financial Controller, the holder is expected to:

1.2.Qualifications & Experience

•Have a Bachelors degree in Finance,Accounting, Commerce with a professional qualification.
•Good systems skills and knowledge of ERP (Preferably JDE) processing systems
•Have controls to ensure accurate stock volumes and values for inland deposits
•Ensure that stock control procedures are in place and adhered to in order to safe guard Company stocks
•Ensure accurate and efficient management of stocks (with correct stock entries which are updated in a timely manner)
•The stock processes and procedures used are continuously updated and improved by the incumbent and other staff that interface stocks.
•Support accurate and timely financial reporting through ensuring all stock General Leader Master Data is updated correctly.

1.3.Key Competencies

•Ability to self start
•Knowledge of Stock Accounting Inventory Management
•Good communications, influencing and networking skills
•Accounting Policies and standards Good analytical skills with keen interest for detail
•Local statutory Accounting and Reporting
•Knowledge and experience in use of accounting packages.
