1.SENIOR SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
1.1.Job Summary
To ensure optimum plant availability and performance, through PLC/SCADA maintenance, Advanced programming and configuration at Tati Nickel Mine and provide overall control systems administration, virus protection, access control and ensures system integrity.
1.2.Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
•Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
•Plant Control System
•Equipment Operation and Maintenance
•Process Improvement
1.3.Qualification and Experience
•National Diploma in Process Control and Instrumentation, completion of courses on PLC and SCADA systems, Control Engineering, Ethernet and Profibus networks.
•A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience as an Instrumentation Technician, coupled with 3 years experience as a Software Technician.
•Completion of a 2 years Software Technician Development Programme will be an advantage.
