3.COMMUNITY LIASON OFFICER
3.1.Job Purpose
To work closely with the Community Superintendent with the implementation of the Social Impact Action Plan for Khoemacau.
3.2.Qualifications, Skills & Experience
•Qualifications in Environmental Science or Negotiation will be an advantage
•Excellence in communication and appreciation of the Batswana and Ngamiland culture.
•Some demonstration of relevant experience in community liaison
•Must be able to communicate, read and write in English and Setswana
•Must know the North West Dsitrict (Ngamiland) of Botswana
•Should be prepared to work under difficult conditions and demonstrate patience and resilience towards achievement of tactical and strategic objectives
•Should have skills in conflict resolution
•Must be a team player
•Must be in possession of a valid Class B Drivers License.
2.ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER
2.1.Job Purpose
To assist and support the Environmental Superintendent in the roll-out and monitoring of the Khoemacau Environmental Management Plan.
2.2.Qualifications, Skills & Experience
•Degree in Environmental Sciences
•Five (5) years experience preferably in a mining environment
•Demonstrated ability to take initiative, to work to a clear mandate and work plan and to maintain a highly organised work environment
•Demonstrated ability to work systematically towards tactical and strategic objectives
•Demonstrated ability to respond to unexpected and challenging circumstances
•Experience and ability unsupervised and in a solo working environment
•Team player and good communicator
•Ability to manage stress and meet critical deadlines
•Must possess a valid class B drivers license
1.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR
1.1.Job Purpose
Reporting to the IT Superintendent and based on site, the IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-today operations of the IT System on-site, by ensuring that the system functions effectively within remote areas, as well as maintaining the long term stability and high levels of systems availability within the mine site's IT operation.
1.2.Qualifications, Experience & Skills
•Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
•A minimum of five (5) years extensive practical experience as a Systems or Network Administrator preferably on a mine site.
•MCSA OR MCS Certification (International)
•CCNA (International)
•ITIL (Basic understanding, qualification is a bonus)
•Basic understanding in Project Management principles
•Must be in possession of a valid Class B Driver's license
