Skills Development Facilitator
The role
- Assist the employer and employees to develop a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) which complies with the requirements of the Seta
- Conduct Skills Audits when necessary
- Submit the WSP to the relevant Seta
- Advise the employer on the implementation of the WSP
- Assist the employer to draft an Annual Training Report (ATR) on the implementation of the WSP
- Recovery of the skills development levy from SETA'S, to register learner-ships and apprentice- ships and accreditation for Sandvik Group. Financial check and balances with regards to SETA grants i.e. from a budget management perspective Act as a contact person between the employer and Seta
- Serve as a resource with regard to all aspects of skills development
- Communicate SETA initiatives, grants and benefits to the employer
- Communicate with branch offices, and all employees in the main office and branch offices, concerning events and grants being offered at the Seta.
Your profile
- 3 year Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Training and Development
- 2 year experience in SETA administration
- Registered and Qualified Skills Development Facilitator with a SETA
- Computer literate -proven competence in Microsoft Office applications as well as Mid-range applications such as the ELM-system (Electronic Learner Management System) by Oracle,
- English proficiency
- Good administrative knowledge and experience
- Customer service experience
- Management experience
