1 TREATIES AND TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER
1.1Main objective
To be responsible for treaties underwriting, reporting of technical results of the organization to internal and external stakeholders and to ensure technical debtors/ creditors are correctly stated to enable the organization to make informed decisions
1.2 Responsibilities
• Compiles technical reports on gross premium writtng,commissions and losses paid
• Examining outstanding losses reserves, unearned premium reserves, incurred but not reported losses pipelines and deferred acquisition costs
• Compile technical trial balance using input from operations
• Compile the operating report using input from operations
• Prepare year end outwards excess of loss premium adjustments
• Reconciling premium and loss portfolio accounts
• Recording individual retro creditors ‘accounts and recommending corrective action

• Insurance qualification IISA,CII or qualification in Risk Management
• Professional qualifications ACCA,CIMA,BICA

2 OFFICE MANAGERS
2.1 Scope of the job
The office manager reports to the senior manager finance and administration and is responsible for administration and secretarial services, managing office operations and assisting with preparation of financial statements, maintaining cash, and accounts payables. The administration officer must work within the company policies and procedures and in compliance with internal control systems
2.2 Main activities
• Provide general administrative support to the executive director and staff team
• Minute taking for team meetings and other meetings
• Manages the repair and maintenance of company vehicles, computer and office equipment
• Arranged hospitality, purchase suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the organization on a day to and as required basis
• Provides administrative support for matters relating to the office and residential premises and operations including leases, payment of bills, security alarms, insurance and transport.

3 REINSURANCE UNDERWRITERS
3.1 Scope of the job
The job entails compilation of claims documentation and settling and recovering of claims in line with policy wording, set guidelines and following the company’s laid down procedures
• Underwriting and acceptance of facultative inwards business
• Following up signing slips and outstanding premium Bordeaux
• Ensuring that amounts due to the company are processed timely to enable accounts to speedily follow up
• Contributing to department al marketing activities to ensure that the organizational overall marketing strategy is properly and timeously executed
• Sourcing of new business
• Ensuring premiums are accurately and timely accounted for
• Maintaining the facultative inwards and treaty register
• Attending accounts departments premium payment queries
• Analyzing trends in claims patterns and making recommendations
