1.Position: FINANCE OFFICER
The job:Ensure timely accurate recording and reporting of finacial operations of the association to management.Production of quartely fiancial reports for the Executive committee as well as preparation of annual financial reporst for audit.Assist with the budget process of the associations operations.
Reporting directly to the Executive Secretary
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Stategic thinker,team player,decisive,self-motovated and result oriented individual with a sound knowlegde of Financial Management
PRINCIPAL Duties:
•Prepare budget and reports for BALA and programs
•Developing and maintaining a general filing system for the Department
•Mainatain all books of accounts on appropriate accounting packages,as well as monthly production of expenditure/income trends
•Production of periodic financial reports for management,executive committee and national members'assembly
•Ensure aacurate upkeep of association's financial records
•Provide support to programmes,projects and departments as may be deemed necessary
•Ensure and implement prudent procurement procedures as well as maintenance of a sound asset management system
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accouting/ATT or equivalent a minimum of 2 years eXperience in an Accounting environment at a supervisory level.
The candidate should preferrably be in possession of an endorsement free two or more years old drivers licence
REMUNERATION and BeNefits
•Salary scale equivalent to government D3 scale (P190,104-P209,868) p.a.
•Contributory medical aid scheme @50%
•25% gratuity paid out monthly into an annuity fund
•30 days leave per annum
•Maternity leave
•Compulsory contributory group funeral scheme
•Communication Allowance
2.Position:DRIVER/MESSENGER
The job:
Mail deliver and collection,official driver as well as clerical filing duties
KEY COMPETENCIES
A self motivated,result driven team player requiring minimum supervision
QUALIFICATION & Experience
A minimum of junior certificate with good command of Setswana and English plus a 2 years old endorsement fress driver"s licence
DUTIES
•Driving BALA staff/officials on a various assignments countrywide
•Mail collection and delivery as well as running running official errands
•Ensuring timely renewal of vehicle road licences in liason with the Finance Officer
•ensure timely servicing of official vehicles
REMUNERATION and Benefits
•Salary scale equivalent to government B4 scale (P30,312-P36,048) p.a.
Contributory medical aid scheme @ 50%
•25% gratuity paid out monthly into an annuity fund
•20 days leave per annum
•Maternity leave
•Compulsory contributory group funeral scheme
