Management
- Monitor & report on distributors’ objectives of product availability, customer service levels, stock holding to ensure that the company meets the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide data and maintain accurate records on competitor’s activities, sales and distribution and report regularly to the Country Manager.
- Manage and control all assigned resources, materials and equipment in a secure and efficient manner in order to maximise the use of organisation assets.
- Monitor and report on brand performance in the outlets (BAT’s and competitors’).
- Effective reporting and feedback on AIT activities, in order to minimise impact of Illicit/UP.
- Manage & control Merchandising & ISF inventory and storage
- RCEP measurement reporting and payment.
- Draw monthly ISF inventory list.
- Allocate ISF to team according to cycle activity.
- Manage key account role out of ISF
- Monitor 3 rd party resellers inventory.
Relationships
- Establish close working relationships with the trade in order to gain trade support and loyalty whilst enhancing understanding of the trading environment.
- Relationships with Key Accounts head office staff

Operational results
- Execute the marketing activities in the outlets located within the territory in order to meet customer and consumer objectives as described in the cycle plan.
- Ensure that the trade coverage and visit frequency targets are met according to agreed customer service levels.
- Ensure that stock rotation is done according to the FIFO principles.
- Execute objectives in terms of distribution, availability, visibility, information and price.
- Measure the Trade Investment Terms per account plans & agreements
- Monitoring and report on vending machines as per channel requirements.
- Coordinate and administrate Merchandising installations
- Compile cycle plan learnings and recommendations
- Allocate POS items per cycle instruction
- Compile weekly stock report
- Compile AIT report.
- Monitor and manage sales of 3 rd party resellers in order to meet target.
Essential requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or business related fields
- 2 – 3 years relevant FMCG experience.
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s licence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Above average negotiation skills.
- Must be a team player
- Willingness to travel and support other end-markets
Desirable requirements
- Sound quantitative and analytical skills.
- Above average computer literacy in MS Office.
- Excellent planning and execution skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Self starter and motivator.
- Proven track record in building and sustaining relationship with key stakeholders.
