PRESS RELEASE: 2015 PRESIDENT’S DAY COMPETITIONS
The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture invites all local play writers to submit a 20 minute script play which will be used for 2015 the President’s Day Competitions under the drama category.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• The script must strictly be a 20 minutes performance
• The play must be performed by not more than 15 characters
• The dialogue and action must depict Botswana setting.
• The script must be accompanied by play summary/synopsis (from beginning to the end)
• The script must be neatly typed and legible
• The script must conform to stage play format
• The script must be based on the given theme below.
• The script must be written in both Setswana and or English.
• The play must be performed by not more than 15 characters

THEME: Beyond 2016: A strategy to Economic Dicersification beyond 2016
The playwright is expected to give his or her play a title under the broad theme
• N.B. Non-original compositions will not be considered.
• The winning script will be awarded an amount of P25, 000.00
• Closing Date for Submission: 27th February 2015
All submissions must be delivered in a sealed envelope or posted.
