The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are seeking an Internal Communications Consultant for our Internal Communications Unit in our Headquarters in Rome, Italy. The selected candidate will be offered a national consultancy contract for an initial period of 6 months, with a possibility of renewal.
To support the reboot of our legacy intranet, the Consultant should have a web development and communications background with ability to converse professionally at a basic level with front and back end developers. He/she should believe in the goals of WFP’s mission to create a world with zero hunger in our lifetimes. He/she should also be able to comfortably work in an international environment with a variety of different cultures, languages, and working styles.
