Business Line Manager - Rock Tools

The Role

The Business Line Manager - Rock Tools is fully responsible for the representation of the TH, DTH, & Rotary Tools in the sales area. This includes people management, distributor management, sales and profitability of the Product Area as well as ensuring local implementation of global product line focus areas and measurements. The role is also responsible for the technical and application support for the product line(s) in the sales area.

Your profile

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mining) or 10 years’experience in a Mining, Technical and Sales environment
• Computer literate with proven Computer skills
• 10 years’ experience with Sandvik equipment – Tools, Consumables and Services (TOCS)
• 8 years Management experience in the Technical product field
• Sandvik product knowledge with primary focus on Rock Tools
• Strong technical background across engineering discipline
• Fitness for underground and surface mines (Silicosis Certification)
• Experience in project and operational management
• Business acumen and background in business and account management
• Experience in technical discussions with middle management & business discussions with senior management
• Successful Value selling experience
• Valid driver’s license
