Organizational Setting and Reporting

The Office of Programme, Planning, Budget and Accounts, Department of Management is recruiting interns for its Trust Fund and Technical Cooperation Section in New York. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who wish to gain professional experience in accounting and financial areas including financial reporting, accounting procedures and practices, and analysis of accounting and financial requirements within an international organization in order to supplement their studies.

• The duration of the internship is between 2 months to a maximum of 6 months depending on particular needs of the project.
• The internships are unpaid. Travel costs, travel arrangements (including visas), and living accommodations are the responsibility of the intern.
• Internship positions are fulltime and interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a relevant staff member, based upon their assignments.
