Deputy Executive Director - Academic Affairs
Main Purpose
This is a strategic role with scholarly and entrepreneurial intent and has the authority for all academic functions of the college. The role provides leadership for all academic and faculty matters including student registration and student affairs. The scope of the role and key performance areas are largely at a strategic level with significant academic operations oversight responsibilities. The coordination of teaching, research, division and administration, including community engagement and transformation to a way of teaching and learning through ICT development and budget administration.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the position will be responsible for among other things, the following:
- Provide strategic leadership to the College – Customer Perspective.
- Provide strategic leadership to the College – Finance Perspective.
- Provide strategic leadership to the College – Learning & Growth Perspective.
- Provide strategic leadership to the College – Process Perspective
Requirements
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
The candidate should have attained the following:
- A PhD with at least 10 years of Senior Management experience in an academic institution, preferably a business school.
- A membership of a professional Body is preferred.
- Accredited by an educational regulatory body.
