Production Controller: Sorting
Reports to: Production Manager
To plan, organise, and coordinate the activities of production teams to ensure delivery of diamonds according to plan and in accordance with sorting standards
Requirements
Key Performance Areas:
- Plan and execute diamond sorting activities
- Track and monitoring diamond processing activities
- Security and integrity of product and data management
- Review diamond processing and sorting effectiveness
- Continuous improvement of diamond processes
- Staff training, development and effectiveness
- Developing team objectives and operational schedules
Education: A minimum of Degree in Process/Operations Management, Metallurgy, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Experience: A minimum of six (6) years post qualification experience with in depth knowledge of the diamond/processing pipeline or a processing/production environment of which three (3) years must have been at Production Supervisor level or equivalent
