Human Resources Executive
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the position of HR executive.
Job summary
The role of the Human Resources Executive is to implement and coordinate all human resources related administration functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas include:
Recruitment and Selection
  • Provide advice and assistance to supervisors and managers on staff recruitment
  • Prepare advertisements for vacant staff positions both internally and externally
  • Liaises with external recruitment consultants to ensure recruitment of high calibre personnel
Training and Development
  • Assists in identifying skills gaps and training needs analysis
  • Prepares and monitors the training plan
  • Ensure effective delivery of all training activities for the subsidiary
  • Provide advice and assistance with writing job descriptions and ensures that all employees have updated JDs
  • Organise staff training sessions, workshops and activities
Employee Relations
  • Ensures adherence to the terms and conditions of employment by all staff
  • Educates supervisors/managers on disciplinary procedures/guidelines
  • Provides expert advice on all aspects of employee relations, industrial relations, industrial instruments and employment law
Remuneration and Benefits Admin
  • Ensures timely submission of accurate payroll figures to Finance for payment
  • Liaises with employee benefit schemes for registration and maintenance of employees’ membership, e.g. Medical Aid, Group Life Assurance, pension, Group Funeral Scheme and loan schemes
Performance Management
  • Conducts orientation sessions on the Performance Management System
  • Administers the company’s balanced scorecard system
  • Provides general guidance to employees on performance management
Qualifications and experience
  • A Degree in Human Resources Management or BA in Social Sciences or related field from a recognized institution
  • At least three (3) years post qualification and experience and good knowledge and grasp of fundamental HR disciplines of recruitment, training and development, performance management, employee and labour relations in Botswana
