1.INVESTMENT ANALYST - STRUCTURED FINANCE 

1.1.Main Purpose of the Job 

The Investment Analyst, will have the ability to understand the functions of the department, as well as explain with a measure of authority the criteria necessary to qualify for funding to interested parties. The Analyst will provide support to the Portfolio Executive including deal origination, transaction processing, participation in due intelligence reviews, portfolio monitoring and continuous evaluation of investments to determine qualification for exit.

1.3.Education & Experience

•Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking OR related field
•At least 3-4 years experience in finance or business related field and thorough knowledge of both Botswana's business environment including the business environment of the SADC region and the problems facing Batswana entrepreneurs locally and in the context of SADC.
•1 year Private Equity or Venture Capital experience will be an added advantage.
