1.SCIENTIST - 2 YEARS CONTRACT

1.1.Main Purpose of the Job

To perform activities for the provision of FMD diagnostic services to the Sub-Saharan Africa Region. Participate in all activities geared towards achieving ISO 17025 accreditation and maintenance of the status, and any other duties they may be assigned. 

1.2.Position Requirements

1.2.1.Education

•BSc specializing in Virology or Microbiology and or Molecular Biology

1.2.2.Experience

•At least 2 years experience as a laboratory technician

1.2.3.Qualities

•Procedural awareness
•Accuracy of work and attention to details
•Analytical skills
•Good communication skills
•Knowledge of ISO 17025:2005

1.2.4.Key Performance Areas

•Timely availability of accurate results
•Adherence to viral safety standards and regulations
