DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER- CAPITAL PROJECTS (Tenable in Gaborone)
4.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, coordinate, optmise and manage the provision of Distributed project management, customer connections and network development services to ensure completion of projects within agreed timetables, budgets and standards and efficient customer connection service delivery in the designated region. (Estimating, project management, metering and inspections)
4.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Recognized Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering
•Membership of a professional engineering institution preferred
•Five (5) years post qualification experience in the power environment, two(2) years of which will have been in project management in a power environment.
.ASSISTANT DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER: OPERATIONS MAINTENANCE - SYSTEM CONTROL (Tenable in Gaborone)
3.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To provide technical assistance and coordinate the operations and maintenance activities to ensure network availability, quality of supply, operational safety and efficient customer supply service delivery in the areas of responsibility.
3.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Recognized Degree in Electrical Power Engineering
•Membership of a professional engineering institution preferred
•Three (3) years post qualification experience in the power environment
DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER (Tenable in Jwaneng)
2.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, coordinate, optmise and manage the provision of technical support in operations and maintenance of the system and to ensure network availability, quality of supply, operational safety and efficient customer connection service delivery in the are of responsibility.
2.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Recognized Degree in Electrical Power Engineering
•Membership of a professional engineering institution preferred
•Five (5) years post qualification experience in the power environment, two (2) of which will have been in system operations/maintenance in a power utility industry
SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR
1.1.Main Purpose of the Job
To receive and direct incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and effectively through the switchboard in a professional, courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Corporation at all times.
1.2.Qualifications & Experience
•BGCSE or equivalent with Certificate in Communications or relevant area
•At least two (2) years in switchboard operation in a medium to large organization
