TENDER FOR PREPARATION OF GHANZI DISTRICT INTEGRATED LAND USE PLAN
• Tender offers are invited for the consultancy services for the preparation of Ghanzi District Integrated Land Use Plan for Ghanzi Land Board.

Tender documents can be collected during working hours from 0730 hours to 1630 hours on weekdays with effect from 23 January 2015
• Tenders can only be collected on payment of a non-refundable fee of P250.00 payable by cash or a Bank guaranteed company cheque made out in favor of Ghanzi Land Board.

1.6.1 If necessary, Ghanzi Land Board shall issue addenda that may amend or amplify the tender documents to each tenderer during the period from the date of the Tender Notice until ten (10) working days before the tender closing time. if, as a result a tenderer applies for an extension to the closing time, Ghanzi Land Board may grant such extension and, will notify it to all tenderers.
• Tenders should be submitted in five (5) sets one (1) original and four (4) identical copies of tender responses in sealed envelope marked “Tender No. GLB/GDILUP/12/2015: GHANZI DISTRICT INTEGRATED LAND USE PLAN FOR GHANZI LAND BOARD” shall be delivered to the Board Secretary, Ghanzi Land Board, P. O. Box 78 Ghanzi, Botswana. The original copy must be marked original.
• Two staged envelope method will be used, in which a tender offer is submitted in two sealed envelopes for the financial and technical proposals and these should be clearly marked. On the day of tender opening only the technical proposals will be opened.
• The closing time for receipt of tender offers shall be 09:00 hours on 20 February 2015 where after tenders will be opened in the presence of bidders who wish to attend at 0930 hours in the Land Board Chamber on the same day.

Tender offers submitted by Telex, Facsimile, e-mail and those submitted late shall NOT be accepted.
• Bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of this tender and Ghanzi Land Board, will under no circumstances be responsible or liable for these costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the tender process.
• The tenderer may, at any time before the deadline of submission of tender offers withdraw, replace or modify their tender offer. Withdrawal of a tender offer shall be by submission of a tender notifying Land Board of the withdrawal and it shall be authorized and submitted in the same way as the original tender.

1.11.1 The envelope containing the withdrawal letter shall be clearly marked ‘WITHDRAWAL’
• Ghanzi Land Board may accept or reject any variation, deviation, tender offer or alternative tender offer and may cancel the tender process and reject all tender offers at any time prior to the formation of a contract. Land Board will not accept or incur any liability to a tender for such cancellation and rejection, but will give reasons for the action.
• The tender may be awarded in full or part to successful bidders.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Ghanzi Land Board is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer. The tenderer shall bear the costs for the preparation of the tender.
