Votex Systems is looking for a Computer engineer with Database Development and scripting, Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Network Programmer will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to design, code, and test new software in a rapid development environment.

• Integrate, deploy, and support large, complex SW/HW based systems. Debug and integrate challenging HW/SW systems designed in a multi-threaded, distributed application environment.

• Define and develop significant features and upgrades to a complex, enterprise-wide Imagery and Geospatial Intelligence System.

• This position may require business travel in support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science\ Computer Engineering

• Proficiency in multiple high level programming languages (e.g., C++ and Java)

• Development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, and/or Iterative)

• Scripting and other languages (e.g., sh, csh, bash, UML, XML, HTML,
CSS, and/or PERL

• Database tools and design (e.g., Oracle, SQL)

• Development tools and services (e.g., Eclipse, Apache, Maven and/or automated test tools

• Familiarity with server-side Java/JEE development

• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/VOIP intensive knowledge (Certification will be an added advantage)

• User Interface development tools for the JEE stack

• Configuration Management tools (e.g., ClearCase)

• Open Source, software and services

• Class B driver’s license (Added advantage)
