Sales Engineer
The role
Drive sales for a given Product Line by bringing the best of Sandvik's offering to meet a given customer need and meet BA mining profitability targerts. Promote TCO approach to drive customer value. Mandate: for a GE Product Line and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achievment of budgeted revenue.
- Responsible for price quality in line with Sandvik's processes and rules.
- Develop sales opportunities for Sandvik product lines within the defined territory or set of customers standard (options already exitsting in sales tools) : Define Sandvik Offering using standard specification sheet.
- Develop a sales plan for designated territory or set of customers
- Ensure customer is in compliance with Sandvik terms and conditions of sale
- Liaise between customers and Sandvik to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner
- Provide the company with regular status reports on business activiities. opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the customers base ( CRM)
- Work as part of the account management team for local or global accounts to identity customer sales opportunities
- Ensure CRM/sales tools is up to date with valid casess and customer visit reports
- Create sales tools case
- Update sales tools to win/loss status.
Your profile:
- A 3 year degree/diploma in Mining/ Mechanical Engineering or Marketing Management.
- 5 years experience in mining/technical or sales enviroment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Sandvik as well as customers business.
- Mining and technical background
- Computer literate- proven competence in Microsoft Office applications as well as other required Mid- range applications.
- Intimate knowledge of Sandvik underground products and applications.
