Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverages service is provided to all guests
- Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry out regular stock takes.
- Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests arriving.
- Ensure staff is competent in dining menu and wine list knowledge
- Ensure that restaurants and clock rooms are clean and well maintained.
- Ensure waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed and offer professional service to guest.
- To ensure that all orders are executed promptly and they comply with the required standards.
- To attend timeously to customer complaints.
- To ensure that an effective table reservation is in operation.Â
Qualifications and Requirements
- O'Level
- Diploma in Hotel Management or related
- 3 years managerial experience in a 4 or 5 star unit
- Knowledge of the operational manual, house rules and fire security procedure
- Knowledge of all facilities and services offered for sale by the hotel and the Complex in general
- Micros POS experience
