SENIOR MANAGER – TECHNICAL SERVICES
Main purpose of the job
To contribute to the overall leadership of the organisation by leading and supporting the business from a technical, asset maintenance, technological solutions and systems perspective to enable Processing Excellence. The role has overall responsibility for the effectiveness of Production Technology, Information Management and management of company Facilities. The role will work closely with Operations supporting it to ensure that key technologies required for efficient production (for example, the Diamond Cleaning Plant, production machines, IT systems) are functioning optimally. Consistent high level service standards will be a key part of the role in servicing Operations and the rest of the business, to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation). Registration with Botswana Engineers’ Registration Board
Experience: At least 8 years post qualification experience in managing technical teams in an engineering / maintenance environment. Management of IT systems would be an added with 5 years at senior management level.
