SENIOR MANAGER – OPERATIONS

Main purpose of the job
Responsible for managing the DTCB end to end diamond value chain, in accordance with agreed global standards to optimise value and returns to shareholders, meet production targets and ensure that DTCB attains, and retains, a world class processing organisation leadership position. Critical to this role will be consistently meeting increasingly stringent quality standards and customer requirements, strategic and commercial decision making in managing the end to end value chain, and strong people leadership to drive a sustainable culture of operational delivery excellence. Effective management of key stakeholder relationships is critical in this role.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Degree (preferably in Business, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Management)

Experience: Minimum of 8 years operations experience of which 5 years should be processing or production operations experience at Senior Management level managing large teams or functions. Manufacturing or Production processes experience would be a key added advantage.
