SENIOR MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCES

Main purpose of the job;
The Senior Human Resource Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a vision and people strategy that attracts and retains talent; that drives performance and excellence in a processing organisation. The incumbent will act as a professional advisor to other business units by developing operational human resource plans; policies, procedures, systems and practices that are aligned to the strategic direction of the company, including employee value proposition aligned to a processing/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent (Industrial/Organizational Psychology/Social and behavioral sciences).

Experience: At least 8 years post qualification generalist Human Resources of which 5 years must be Human Resources experience at Senior Management Level in a unionized environment. HR experience gained in a processing/manufacturing/production environment will be an added advantage.
