EQUITY ANALYST - FLEMING ASSET MANAGEMENT BOTSWANA

Fleming Asset Management Botswana requires an Equity Analyst to join our team and perform research and analysis on international and local equity investments.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct regular fundamental research on listed companies
• Write research reports on companies covered
• Present and defend equity research
• Assist in the trading function of the relevant portfolios in their coverage universe

The suitable candidate must have the following attributes:

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Highly analytical and able to adequately and thoroughly process information
• Self-motivated and able to handle criticism
• High attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to operate independently as well as within a team
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Must possess and exhibit a passion for investing and investment management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong academic track record, with preference for an undergraduate major in accounting, economics or finance.
• Completion of Level I or higher of the of the CFA Program

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Post graduate degree (Masters in Finance preferred).

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Candidates with no experience will be considered. However, relevant experience will be an advantage.
