AR Holdings (Pty) Ltd (North End Filling Station/Europa Coffee Shop) is looking for a Human Resources Manager who can develop effective relationships with line managers and provide a professional HR service to the business.
The successful candidate will be a committed, well organised individual, who is not afraid of a challenge.
Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and skills:
• A Degree in Human Resource Management or an associated field.
• 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in HR
• Superior interpersonal, coaching, communication, negotiation and consultative skills at all levels.
The applicants will be responsible for:
• Performance management – deliver performance management programs that drive a high performance culture.
• Recruitment and selection – direct and manage the recruitment and selection process, and train line managers in interviewing and assessment procedures.
• Learning and development – implement and monitor effectiveness of training programs.
• Human resources policy – develop, implement and maintain human resources policies across the organisation, including training programs to educate and promote awareness of regulatory compliance.
• Reporting and management of human resources metrics – produce reports on key metrics, including remuneration and benefits, absenteeism and turnover.
• Leadership – able to lead by example and provide coaching to help teams reach their potential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following behavioural traits:
• Technical ability
• Honesty, openness & discretion
• Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
• Excellent communication skills
