In addition to the provision of advisory services to banks and non-banks in the MSME finance field, LFS Financial Systems GmbH, together with Access Microfinance Holding AG (Access Holding), has built a network of specialized small business banks (Access Banks) for which it acts as the management company and holds significant ownership. The AccessBank group currently comprises ten member banks in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia, which together employ more than 7,500 staff serving close to 570,000 clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
The aim of our training programme is to acquaint new staff with the LFS lending methodology and tools as well as with the roles and responsibilities in a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) finance bank. The nine-months training takes place in an Access network bank. After the training, Junior Banking Advisors are ready to take over first management resposibility in another Access network bank.
The training location is selected based on the experience and language skills of the trainee, as well as on project capacities and vacancies. Throughout the training, trainees are involved in the daily operations of the bank. Trainees are part of the LFS team on the ground and cooperate closely with the local staff in the bank.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in economics, business, microfinance, agriculture or finance-related field; Applications will also be considered from graduates in other fields with good quantitative skills;
- First work experience or internships in Branchless Banking, particularly in the field of Digital Finance;
- Living or work experience in a developing or transition economy, candidates from the MENA region are invited to apply for a career in upcoming projects;
- Apprenticeship in banking would be advantageous;
- Interest in a long-term career in the field of microfinance;
- 1-2 years professional experience, including first relevant experiences, e.g. in SME and/or Agri-Finance, and (Corporate) Finance;
- Excellent command of English and Arabic. The following languages would be an asset: French, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish;
- Motivation for a long-term assignment in developing or transition countries;
- Evidence of a sense of responsibility, creativity and commitment to excellence.
