Moolman Mining Botswana is looking for a Financial Manager at their Phoenix Mine.

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of Financial Manager. The successful candidate will be in charge of the finance and Admin function for Botswana operations.

Requirements

The Financial Manager will be responsible for the following;
Cash & Asset Management
Procurement Administration
Administration of Insurance & Sureties
Office management
PAYE and VAT administration
Management and statutory reporting
Internal systems and controls
Assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting
Overseeing Internal and external audits
Statutory returns
Contract management assistance
Providing team leadership and management direction.

The minimum requirements for the position are:

• ACCA qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in an open cast mining environment
• Strong leadership and extensive management acumen
• Well conversant with International Financial Reporting Standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good financial and administrative skills
