MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified employees for the position of Marketing and Communications Executive. The role of the Marketing and Communications Executive is to assist in the effective execution of the Marketing and Communications initiatives of the company.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas

• Assists in the preparation of the annual Marketing and Communication plans
• Executes Marketing campaigns (product and brand) as per the Marketing campaign schedule
• Works closely with Advertising agencies to ensure brand guidelines are interpreted correctly
• Works closely with Public Relations agencies and the media to ensure that reputational risk is managed
• Prepares all Internal Marketing briefs to ensure that all internal stakeholders are aware of Marketing campaigns / initiatives
• Provides all Botswana Life branches with adequate and appropriate merchandising
• Liaises closely with Advertising agencies and Event Managers to ensure all new or revamped products are launched effectively
• Acts as a brand champion by ensuring all stakeholders involved in displaying the BLIL brand conform to brand guidelines
• Liaises closely with Advertising agencies to ensure that merchandise is produced in line with brand guidelines
• Liaises closely with Advertising agencies to ensure that appropriate advertising material is developed in line with product and brand campaigns
• Produces all internal and external communication regarding brand and product campaigns
• Ensures BLIL is able to exploit all Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives from a Marketing and Communications perspective
• Assists the Marketing and Communications Manager with all external and internal communication

Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.

Working Experience
At least 4 years’ experience in a Marketing and Communications environment plus working knowledge of a Life Insurance company.
