Senior Expert ICT Sun Systems

Mazars is currently implementing a long term contract at the SADC Secretariat in Botswana, funded by the EU. As part of this contract, we need to provide the following short term expertise:

Short Term Expert to assist SADC to conduct a capabilities review of Sun System and Customisation of Financial Reports Templates for the Staff of the Budget and Finance Directorate at SADC Secretariat. The assignment requires a Category I expert with knowledge and experience on Sun Systems installation and reports generation.  

Total input: 20 days (in Gaborone, Botswana)
Qualification and skills
Required:

• Degree in ICT, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent;
• Excellent presentation and communication skills;
• Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office software packages and most desirably Sun Systems

General Professional Experience
Required:

• At least five years working experience with a focus on Accounting software training in business and government bodies; and
• At least three years training experience in online Accounting reports customization and template development with government and private sector institutions

Specific Professional Experience
Required:

• Professional experience in Sun Systems Accounting Software training;
• Professional experience in training on reports generation tools within Sun Systems Accounting software
• Experience of having designed and conducted similar training in reporting packs and generated customized financial reports templates, in accordance with the reporting formats of an organization similar to SADC.
