UNDP is looking to recruit a dynamic individual (National Project Coordinator) to manage the implementation of project activities on a day-to-day basis, provide technical direction to the initiative and ensure effective and efficient use of project funds towards the achievement of the defined goals and objectives by the end of the project.

Qualifications
- An advanced university degree (MS or PhD) in Range Ecology, Sociology or any relevant Social and Environmental Science discipline;
- At least 7 years of experience in natural resource management, water resources management, range ecology/management, land-use planning or a related field;
- At least 5 years of project/programme management experience;
- Ability to effectively coordinate a large, multi-stakeholder project;
- Ability to administer budgets, train and work effectively with counterpart staff at all levels and with all groups involved in the project;
- Strong drafting, presentation and reporting skills;
- Strong computer skills, in particular mastery of all applications of the MS Office package and internet search;
- A good working knowledge of English is a requirement.
