First National Bank of Botswana invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below in our Bank.
Valuations Assistant
Reporting to the Manager Valuations, the incumbent will be required to maintain the effective management and co-ordination of all operational requirements of the Property Valuation Unit.
Requirements
The individual will be responsible for the following amongst other deliverables:
- Maintain and foster positive and proactive Business relationships with both Internal and external clients and Independent Valuation contractors/Vendors to sustain and enhance the Bank’ market reputation by ensuring service delivery is not compromised.
- To direct, control and maintain the effective functioning of all administrative requirements, ensuring all service level agreements are adhered to and valuation records are accurate and up to date at all times
- Ensuring that all valuations conducted either internally or by means of Independent Valuation contractors/ vendors are in line with negotiated service level agreements, thereby ensuring consistency and reliable service delivery.
- On an ongoing basis, to identify latest market trends within the Property Industry, that directly impact on the Valuation Business, by conducting market analysis/ research and development, thus ensuring the Business Unit remains competitively positioned within the Industry.
- Ensure that all financial data, for the compiling of financial reports is accurate, up to date and readily available for compiling the required information/ statistics to ensure effective decision making can be made.
- To ensure that the workflow and business practices of staff are complimentary to meeting of business needs, by providing the necessary support and assistance when required.
Manager - Valuations
Reporting to the Director-Credit, the successful incumbent will be required to effectively maintain the management and co-ordination of all operational requirements relating to the FNB Property Valuation unit and, ensuring all activities are in line with the agreed business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
Requirements
The individual will be responsible for the following amongst other deliverables:
- Maintain and foster positive and proactive Business relationships with both Internal Clients and External Clients and Independent Valuation contractors/Vendors to sustain and enhance the Bank’s market reputation by ensuring service delivery is not compromised.
- To direct, control and maintain the financial planning within the business unit ensuring adherence and meeting budgetary forecasts and ensuring that revenue generated is accounted for.
- Ensuring that all valuations conducted either internally or by means of Independent Valuation contractors/ vendors are in line with negotiated service level agreements, thereby ensuring consistency and reliable service delivery.
- On an ongoing basis, to identify latest market trends within the Property Industry, that directly impact on the Valuation Business, by conducting market analysis/ research and development, thus ensuring the Business Unit remains competitively positioned within the Industry
- Ensure that all required reports are appropriately compiled, with the required analysis and interpretation of information being done, thereby adopting appropriate interventions/strategies in line with meeting the required Business Objectives
- To ensure that the workflow and business practices of staff are complimentary to meeting of business needs, by providing the necessary support and assistance when required.
