Relationship Officer x 2
The aspirant will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships with individuals and a quality loan portfolio through borrower due diligence, credit proposal preparation and a disciplined portfolio monitoring effort.
Requirements
Main Focus Areas
- Generate revenue streams through the cross-selling of banking services to the banks customer base
- Contribute to sound portfolio management though regular monitoring
- Act in accordance with all regulatory, compliance and KYC policies (both internal and external) and communicate to clients as appropriate
- Manage and coordinate the acquisition and retention process of customers through ensuring good levels of customer service at all times
- Portfolio profitability in line with sales targets
- Achieve the required cross-selling ratio
- Receive, research and respond to customer enquiries, problems and complaints
Required knowledge and experience
The ideal candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Marketing or related fields with a minimum of 2 years-experience in relationship management or similar role. The position requires a person with broad based knowledge of financial products and services, financial markets and economic environments, knowledge of respective operational and regulatory environment, ability to research and aggressively source new business through own initiatives and demonstrated ability to network and build own portfolio of contacts to maximize referral network.
