Bank Gaborone is looking for a Database Administrator to fill the vacant post in their Botswana Office.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Database Administrator:
Responsible for the design, maintenance and support of both production and staging databases, as well as for the overall health, availability, recoverability and performance of these databases.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Degree in Information Technology (IT), or related IT qualification
MCITP - Database Administrator 2008
MCDBA or MCTS
SQL Server 2000
SQL Server 2005
SQL Server 2008
SQL Server 2012
Five (5) years SQL Server experience and two (2) years SQL database administration experience
T-SQL Scripting experience
Sharepoint
SQL clustering
Experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
Database Security
Backup and recovery (SQL Redgate experience will be an added advantage)
SSIS, SSRS and Analysis Services experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent planning and organising skills
Excellent administration and management skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Valid Driver’s License
